Our Agriculture & Outdoors program utilizes our 54-acre farm to connect youth, families, and community members with hands-on experiences that foster an appreciation for agriculture, natural resources, and God’s creation. Through interactive learning opportunities, participants gain practical knowledge about where food comes from, sustainable growing practices, environmental stewardship, and outdoor skills while developing confidence, curiosity, and a deeper connection to the land.
At our teaching farm, participants can explore a variety of agricultural systems and outdoor learning environments, including aquaponics, hydroponics, beekeeping, forestry and natural resources, and our community teaching garden. Educational workshops, demonstrations, volunteer opportunities, and seasonal programs provide meaningful experiences for learners of all ages, from those discovering agriculture for the first time to those interested in developing career-related skills.
By combining education, stewardship, and hands-on learning, the Agriculture & Outdoors program helps cultivate a greater understanding of food systems, environmental responsibility, and the many ways agriculture can positively impact individuals, families, and communities.
