John has an extensive background working with youth in church settings and in agricultural education classrooms. He taught a variety of agriculture and leadership courses at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels and now works in the agribusiness sector. John’s greatest desire is for youth to experience God in a deep, meaningful way and to discover hope and purpose that transforms their lives, as found in Jeremiah 29.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you,” says the LORD. Jeremiah 29:11-14 NLT

Rebecca is an active volunteer in her church and community with a heart for children. She grew up enjoying the outdoors and caring for animals. She is excited to share her passion while teaching youth the importance of Jesus through agriculture. Rebecca is dedicated to helping youth overcome their obstacles by sharing the light of Christ, as said in John 1:5 NLT.

Ed has a background in agriculture, is a former high school agriculture teacher, and has been a university agricultural educator and administrator for many years. He loves helping people of all ages discover and pursue their potential and is excited about seeing others experience the abundant presence of God in nature and agriculture through PLFM. One of Ed’s favorite scriptures is Philippians 4:6 NIV.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Alvin, a native South Carolinian, received his B.S. degree in Agricultural Education from SC State College (now University) and a Master’s of Education from the same specializing in Special Education. He did further studies at the University of South Carolina and Clemson University. Alvin taught vocational agriculture for 12 years in Calhoun County (South Carolina). He received his Ph. D in Agricultural Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 1984, he accepted a position at Texas A&M University; he retired as a full professor in 2014. Alvin is an ordained AME minister. He pastored for 33 years in Texas and now pastors Cumberland AME Church in Aiken.

John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Pastor Pat Daniel is the Founder of New Generation Faith Ministries in Odessa, Florida where she has served as the Senior Pastor for twenty-seven years. She has always been known as a woman of faith. Pastor Daniel heard God’s voice giving her specific instructions on how she was to build Him a house by faith and love. Through seven years of trials and tribulations, the building was completed debt-free. Pastor Daniel is also a builder of character and it is her desire to help build our youth in their faith and to fulfill God’s promises in their lives. Her life’s work has been to instill in young people the sense of rightness giving them the opportunity to experience Christ’s love in a way that will transform them into a new person, as said in Romans 12:2 NLT.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

With a passion and background in rural advocacy, John Walt welcomes opportunities to live his servant faith while educating others about the virtues of agrarian life. He often retreats to a simple, yet powerful, reminder of our Christian purpose, as extolled in Psalm 46:10 NKJV.

Becky Raulerson grew up in Bonifay, FL and later attended the University of Florida earning a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Education and Communication. She is currently a faculty member in the the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Florida. She has sales experience in veterinary pharmaceuticals and high school teaching experience. She also currently serves as Union County School Board member, representing district 4. Becky has a passion for PLFM with being able to combine her priority of faith with her knowledge of agriculture and Union County to serve the ministry.
