PLFM to Host Inaugural Faith & Family Ag Festival
PLFM is excited to host its inaugural Faith & Family Ag Festival on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at its farm in Lake Butler! The Festival will introduce community members to PLFM while promoting agricultural literacy to a K-12 and adult audience from Union and surrounding counties.
There will be different agriculture activities and stations plus lunch and prizes! The Festival will be from 8:45AM – 2:00 PM at 6886 SW 74th Way Lake Butler, FL 32054. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, as registration on-site is subject to availability. Register here.
PLFM seeks to develop youth into responsible members of society by providing a safe and loving environment with God’s Word as the foundation. The Faith & Family Ag Festival will be the first of many events at Promised Land Family Ministries that will fulfill its mission of “strengthening youth and families through Christ-centered experiences in an agricultural and outdoor setting, creating abundant living that transforms individuals and communities.”
Co-founder and Vice President Rebecca Hall says this was a long time in the making. “God put this ministry on John’s heart over 20 years ago. We bought the property in late 2019 and were actually planning on having events in 2020, but the pandemic hit so we postponed everything but work days. We feel now is the time to move forward and are so excited to start reaching youth and teaching them about all the wonderful things God has prepared for them.”
This free event is made possible by generous supporters of PLFM!
